Rocket League Teams Set for Esports World Cup in Paris Next Month

The Esports World Cup will feature a Rocket League tournament in Paris, with confirmed participation from 14 top teams. This prestigious event is part of a larger competition boasting over $75 million in total prize money, bringing together elite esports organizations from around the globe.

The Rocket League portion is scheduled between August 12 and 16. Among the confirmed contenders are prominent names such as Karmine Corp, Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, NRG, Shopify Rebellion, and TSM. These teams have secured their places early, ensuring a high level of competition and global fan interest.

While fourteen teams have earned their spots, three positions remain unsettled. Two squads, PWR and Wildcard, will face off in a tiebreaker to claim one of the final slots due to identical standings in RLCS Oceania rankings. The specific date of this decisive match has not yet been announced.
